Contractor Born in Mumbai in India, was raised in Nigeria from the time she was seven. She was already exposed to a lot of travel and different cultures at a very young age. After boarding school, for seven years in London the family moved to Toronto Canada where she spent most of her youth and early adulthood. Contractor studied classical ballet in Toronto. After a single semester at the University, Contractor went to an open call audition for the play Pericles at the prestigious famous, world-class Stratford Shakespeare Festival [Ontario, Canada and got the leading role. The play received rave reviews and her performances on the stage in 92 productions. the play was voted as the best production by Canadian critics in 2002. She was given the chance to join Stratford Conservatory. It is a private institution that accepts just eight men as well as four female students for a crash course in traditional theatre.
