Mena Alexandra suvari born on February 13, 1979, in America is an actress as well as a fashion designer and model. Shortly after beginning her career as a model she soon transitioned into acting after appearing in guest roles on 1990's television shows such as Boy Meets World and High Incident. She had her first film role in the 1997 drama Nowhere. Her transition into major roles with her performances on American Beauty for which she was nominated for the BAFTA Award and American Pie and American Pie, both of which gained her wider attention. She was in the film industry for a year, and starred with her American Pie co star Jason Biggs. She then played the leading role on the film Sugar & Spice (2000). The year 2002 saw her appeared in Spun the drama by an independent company and in 2004's thriller Trauma. Also, she appeared on HBO's drama series Six Feet Under in 2004 she was nominated as an Outstanding Cast in the 2005 Screen Actors Guild Awards. In 2008 her filmography included Day of the Dead The Mysteries of Pittsburgh The adaptation to The Garden of Eden and numerous other films.
